YVONNE RUIZ
Yvonne was born in Los Angeles, California, and has been a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada since 1997. Yvonne is a first generation Mexican-American and is fluent in the Spanish language. She attended Las Vegas Academy where she majored in Spanish. Yvonne received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2005.
Following her undergraduate studies, Yvonne earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2013 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her studies at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Yvonne was a member of Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and Moot Court Society.
She passed the California State Bar in the spring of 2014. Subsequently, Yvonne passed the Nevada State Bar and became a licensed attorney in the spring of 2016.

After graduating from law school, Yvonne worked with a prestigious law firm focusing in the area of family law where she worked on complex family litigation matters, including but not limited to, division of extensive assets and jurisdiction issues. Yvonne then left to work with a prestigious insurance defense firm where she represented national insurance companies in personal injury lawsuits, including but not limited to, automobile collisions, slip and fall, and products liability. Having first-hand experience on the defense side, Yvonne is more prepared to negotiate and fight the insurance companies for her injured clients.
Yvonne’s practice includes all aspects of personal injury, family law, DUIs and expungement of records. She is admitted in Nevada and California state courts, and in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.
